Collection: First Responders Relief Fund: W4W Help The Helpers
Waves For Water has a long-standing history of helping the helpers and itself was born out of a natural disaster relief effort, that to this date have successfully responded to over 33 natural disasters, globally.
Now faced with a new type of catastrophe: Covid-19, they are pulling from their crisis/disaster management experience to expand their scope and leverage of the W4W community to act. Through their Covid-19 Help the Helpers campaign, they are applying their skills and capabilities as a humanitarian aid organization through providing safe and healthy nutrition packs and hot meals, for frontline medical workers, fire departments, and police precincts.
Currently active in NY, NJ, and ID, the #W4WHELPERS programs are funded in part by the contributions that are generated from the sales of these tee and fleece items. Through your purchase, 20% of the sales price will be donated towards further servicing the needs of these communities, as well as enabling them to expand their reach to other communities in need.
*Legendary photographer Tom Servais is world renowned for his iconic surf shots of the best surfers in the world...for decades. His work has been featured on multiple covers including SURFER, SURFERS JOURNAL and many other well known surf publications. Tom has generously contributed this amazing photo of 20' Cloudbreak - shot from across the channel, on Tavarua Island. Perfect conditions and devoid of surfers…photos like these, fueled surfer's love for Fiji and the island of Tavarua as the epitomy of perfection. Let’s hope we are all back in the water soon, but these times are a definite reminder of the importance coming together to help others...and to be human first.
